Ingredients

Serves: roughly 8-10

Metric Cups
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 200 millilitres cream
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 1 tablespoon gelatine
  • 63 millilitres water
  • chocolate chips (to decorate)
  • 1 tin sweetened condensed milk
  • 7 fluid ounces cream
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 1 tablespoon gelatine
  • ¼ cup water
  • chocolate chips (to decorate)

Method

Coffee Cream is a community recipe submitted by chaitanya and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • pour condensed milk into a mixer.
  • add the rum into it.
  • heat water until very hot, add gelatin dissolve and add the coffee and dissolve. pour into condensed milk and blend well.
  • now add the cream,100ml at a time and blend well.
  • pour into a dish, cover with cling film and keep aside till half set. now keep the dish in the fridge until it sets.
  • decorate with chocolate chips and serve. add fresh cream on top if desired.

  • Additional Information

    You can substitute the coffee with strawberries/Blueberries/Blackberries aspberries. But you will need a lot of it-250-300g. Leave out the rum. Blitz the berries first then add condensed milk and follow the same procedure as above without the coffee and rum. Decorate with the berries. do not blitz the berries until very smooth leave a few chunks so that you get it while eating.
