Preheat oven to 400 degrees  Divide the dough in two. Roll into rectangles. Line a rectangular baking pan with half the dough. Fill and arrange whole hard boiled eggs evenly in filling then cover with remaining rolled dough. Crimp edges and brush with egg wash. Bake until top is golden brown. Can be served either hot or cold.
Introduction
Basically an Italian quiche that is traditionally made at Easter it is a wonderfully hearty meal that can be eaten warm or cold. (personally I prefer it cold)

Ingredients
Serves: 12
For the Crust
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup water
- 5 tablespoons crisco (or butter, melted - Crisco is better)
For the Filling
- 5 eggs
- 1 pound mozzarella
- 1 pound ricotta cheese
- 1 chopped pepperoni sausage
- 2 handfuls grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ pound salami (sliced and cut into small pieces)
- 1 pound fennel
- cooked and sliced pork sausages ( into 1/4 inch slices)
- ground black pepper
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
