Ingredients

Serves: 12

Metric Cups
  • 75 grams butter (melted)
  • 313 millilitres caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 375 millilitres plain flour (sieved)
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 125 millilitres cocoa (sieved)
  • 125 millilitres milk
  • 3 ounces butter (melted)
  • 10⅞ fluid ounces superfine sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 13⅙ fluid ounces all-purpose flour (sieved)
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 4⅖ fluid ounces unsweetened cocoa (sieved)
  • 4⅖ fluid ounces milk

  • Preheat the oven 160degrees melt the butter in the microwave for 8 seconds whisk it with sugar untill light and creamy
  • Fold in the flour, baking powder and cocoa, drown it in the milk and stir untill absorbed
  • Add 3 lids of vanilla essence (optional) grated orange peel and fold in (optional)
  • Stick it in the oven for 65 minutes.
