  • ½ butternut squash
  • 5 baby swedes
  • 1 ounce goat's cheese
  • 2 tablespoons natural yogurt

Method

Butternut Squash & Goat's Cheese Mash is a community recipe submitted by filleanglaise and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Steam the vegetables until very soft.
  • Mix a few tablespoons of natural yoghurt with the crumbled goats cheese and add to the cooked veg.
  • Mash the lot up and season (I used Pistachio's Gomasio - salt and sesame seed mixture which goes particularly well with this)
  • Additional Information

    (the amounts really aren't important - as you all know I never measure - but you really don't need a lot of the goats cheese - I think it may overpower the dish otherwise)
