Whisk egg yolks sugar and Horlicks till creamy. Heat milk and cream until nearly boiling, pour over yolk mixture, whisking, then make your custard in the usual manner. Allow to cool and chill. Churn custard adding the crushed Maltesers at start of churning. Freeze when churned.
Introduction
I was lying in bed last night thinking this would be a good combo, so I had a go today.

I tried this recipe yesterday but the custard and resulting ice cream just tasted eggy. Any ideas what went wrong?
Was going to try this but you don't say how much Horlicks to put in. Think I'll experiment any way.
