Chicken and Potatoes With Lemon Dressing

Deep fry the potatoes until golden brown, place them in a large saucepan, now fry the chicken pieces place them on top of the potatoes, season with salt ,pepper and cinnamon now pour over the lemon juice and enough water to make up at least 1 inch cooking juice. Bring to boil place the lid on the saucepan turn the heat down LOW and leave for 20-30 mins you do not stir this while it is cooking but tilt the saucepan left to right and circular movements to baste the chicken with the juices add a touch more water if you feel its boiling dry the potatoes will be so soft and fluffy do not be disappointed if they fall apart although they shouldn't become mash!

- chicken pieces (as many as you need per person, whatever piece your heart desires!)
- 3 potatoes (halved, per person - again the same with potatoes it depends on your appetite, usually this is plenty per person - if you are using small potatoes leave them whole but make a slit down one side, this
- 2 lemons (squeezed juice of)
- water (for extra cooking juice)
- salt
- pepper
- ground cinnamon (most importantly)
