Preheat the oven to gas 6. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl (excluding dried fruit). Measure the liquids together in a jug and add the egg, whisk together. Melt the butter and honey together, stirring occasionally. Mix the butter, honey, milk, cranberry juice and egg into the dry ingredients very gently until just combined (use a fork). Mix in the dried fruits. Divide into 12 muffin cases and bake for 15 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean and the muffins are golden brown in colour. Serve as they are or spread with marmalade, jam or if feeling 'naughty' Nutella (this is fab btw) or peanut butter.

- 2 tablespoons manuka honey
- 1 tablespoon wild Greek honey
- 100 millilitres cranberry juice
- 100 millilitres semi skimmed milk
- 1 large egg
- dried cranberries (these can be adapted to suite your taste and availability)
- blueberries (these can be adapted to suite your taste and availability)
- barberries (these can be adapted to suite your taste and availability)
- goji berries (these can be adapted to suite your taste and availability)
