Ingredients

Serves: 2-4

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • fresh gingerroot (to taste)
  • red chile flakes (or powder)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • cilantro (to garnish)
  • 2 green chiles

  • Heat oil in the saucepan & add cumin seeds. Let the seeds turn a little brown.
  • Now add grated garlic and ginger & green chiles. Wait till light golden brown.
  • Add salt, red chilli, turmeric powder.
  • Turn off the flame & add yoghurt.
  • Garnish with coriander.
  • Heat in the microwave.

    Do not heat the curd on flame as it will curdle...
