Brandied Figs for Bread Pudding

Combine brandy, sugar, figs and water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cover and gently simmer 10 minutes. Uncover and simmer until reduced to 1 cup. Should take around 20 minutes. Serve warm over bread pudding.

- ⅓ cup water
