Preheat oven to 180C. Spread sliced onions on to a lined baking tray. Sprinkle with sugar and a generous sprinkling of seasoned salt. Pour over the vinegar and oil. Toss together lightly with your hands. Roast for about 30 minutes, till they are dark and sticky.
