Wash rice and boil with water. Once boiling add milk 1 cup at a time. Add almonds and raisins. Once rice is cooked and milk boils lower the heat and add the sweetened condensed milk. Mix it well stirring constantly so that it doesn't touch the base of the pan. Add rose water. The rice pudding should be creamy and thick. If u think that the rice pudding is very thick u can add more milk, but there is no need to add any sugar though. If u like it, next time i have more and also the very very best Indian Chai tea. Thank U

- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup pudding rice (usually available from eastern Indian stores)
- 1⅔ litres milk (2% or even skimmed will do)
- ½ teaspoon rosewater
- ½ cup peeled and chopped almonds
- ½ cup raisins
