Metric Cups
  • ⅞ kilogram minced beef
  • 1 large onion (grated)
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground sumac
  • 1 egg
  • 2 pounds ground beef

Method

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix beef, seasonings, sumac, and egg. Mix well to blend.
  • Chill over night or grill right away. Form into palm size patties and grill on both sides until well done. You can also broil these kebobs on foiled-covered and oiled cookie sheet.
  • Broil under the lower-heat broiler and cook through.
  • Serve with steamed rice, grilled tomatoes, lime slices, basil, and more sumac to sprinkle on kebobs.
