Turkey Kabobs

Introduction

Very good for sandwiches, or with a side of tossed salad, and hard crust breads

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6 as meat entree

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion (grated in a food processor)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • turmeric
  • 1 large egg
  • sliced thickly tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or vegetable oil spray)

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine turkey, grated onion, salt, pepper, turmeric, and egg.
  • Cover a large cookie sheet with sheets of foil, brush a little olive oil or vegetable oil spray.
  • Form meat mixes into patties as large as your palm.
  • Arrange on foiled sheet and scatter tomato wedges around.
  • Bake in 400 degree F, for 45 minutes or until meat is cooked and edges are crisp.
  • Additional Information

    Serve these kabobs on flat bread and garnish with radishes, onion slices, basil, and lime.
