Fry beef until just brown. Add bacon, onion, carrot, garlic, tomato puree and stock. Bring to boil and simmer gently until liquid has been absorbed. Mix the meat mixture with the macaroni and peas and place in an oven proof dish. Make white sauce. Add grated cheese to taste and stir until melted. Pour sauce over meat/macaroni mixture and sprinkle with a little more cheese. Bake at 180c/Gas 4 until browned (about 20-30 minutes). Enjoy!

How much macaroni? What is 1 packet of smokey bacon? Trying the receipt tonight using 250grams of macaroni and four slices of smoked bacon. I'll be back to let you know how it goes.
