Metric Cups
  • 900 millilitres milk
  • 100 millilitres single cream
  • 4 tablespoons instant coffee
  • sugar (to taste)
  • 12 ice cubes
  • coffee liqueur
  • 31⅗ fluid ounces milk
  • 3½ fluid ounces heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons instant coffee
  • sugar (to taste)

Method

  • Mix the milk and cream and freeze the mix*.
  • Boil 100 ml water and dissolve the coffee and sugar in it. Let it cool in the fridge**.
  • Put the frozen milk/cream in the blender with the coffee syrup and ice cubes (add some liquor if you want), mix till the texture is what you're after. into glasses and drink straight away!
    • I freeze the milk/cream in ice cube trays

    ** Make more syrup at once and stock it in the fridge.
