Introduction

I make this almost everytime we braai (BBQ). For whatever reason everybody just loves this dish so I thought I would share it with you. I have not included quantities as you can adjust them according to how many people you feed. Just remember to up the cream. Also you can loads more... mushrooms, peppers, whatever you like

Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • 1 potato
  • 1 bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 fresh cream
  • 1 potato

Method

  • Fry bacon and onion in some olive oil, add some herbs and spices.
  • Peel potatoes and slice (not too thick).
  • Layer in a dish with the bacon mixture and pour over the cream.
  • Bake with lid on till cooked, serve and enjoy!

    Enjoy! PS, Don't overfill the cream as it can tend to boil over in the oven, and baked on cream is no joy to clean!
