Chocolate Brownie Cake

Sift the flour and sugar into a bowl. Boil margarine, water, oil, buttermilk and salt in a heavy-based pot. Mix everything together. Bake in a pan for 25-30 mins at 180 degrees Celsius.
Melt 2 tablespoons margarine, 2 1/2 tablespoons buttermilk, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa and 3/4 cup icing sugar. Melt 10 squares chocolate and mix all together. Spread over a hot cake and Enjoy xx

- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup buttermilk

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt

I started putting this cake together thinking that it was a recipe tested by Nigella. When I added the sugar to the flour-I thought it was a bit strange but I continued. When it came time to actually boil the fat- I was lost. I checked the recipe and realized that it was from a complete stranger-but I was committed. Turned out to be moist, flavourful and absolutely delicious!! Thank you sooooo much as this is now my go to chocolate cake!!!!
