A zesty, spicy pasta recipe that's quick and easy. This is my take on Sophie Grigson's crab dish using store cupboard ingredients.

Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • spaghetti (enough for 4)
  • 1 can canned tuna (drained)
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes (crushed or 1 fresh chilli)
  • 100 millilitres olive oil
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • spaghetti (enough for 4)
  • 1 can canned tuna (drained)
  • 1 teaspoon chile flakes (crushed or 1 fresh chilli)
  • 4 fluid ounces olive oil
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

Method

  • Cook the spaghetti, drain and return to the pan with the tuna.
  • Warm the olive oil in a small pan with the chilli flakes. Do not have it too hot, you are not frying.
  • Stir the lemon zest and herbs into the oil then pour over the spaghetti, mixing it all quickly together.
  • Add lemon juice to taste, season and toss it altogether.
  • Serve!
