Bacon and Cheese, Cheese, Cheesey Potato Bake

Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees Peel potatoes and slice thinly, layer into an oven proof dish. (for fast cooking time i would boil these for awhile before, but it is not nesseccary.) Mix Bacon, onions, cream, cheese, herbs and garlic together in a bowl. Pour over Potatoes making sure all is covered. cover with foil or lid and place on middle shelve of oven for about an hour.
Introduction
I tried another simple potato bake recipe but felt there was something missing from the flavour, I love this simple meal and my guests always ask for the recipe as it's quick and easy for busy lives.

- 5 medium potatoes
- 1 teaspoon herbs de provence
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 cups grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 rashers diced bacon (unsmoked)
- 1 small diced onion
- 1 cup cream

Additional Information
I left a small amount of cheese and bacon to place on top before putting in oven. I found because i did not cook the potatoes a little before i had to push the heat up more at the end to make the potatoes tender.
