Put 2/3 of the fruit into a suitable baking dish Puree the rest of the fruit and mix in (if there's no food processor in your holiday house, just pour in all the fruit at once). Sprinkle with 2 tbsp sugar Top with buttered triangles of the raisin bread Sprinkle further 2 tbsps sugar over the top Bake, covered with foil, for 10 minutes at 220 degrees then uncover for a further 5 minutes until triangles of bread are golden brown Serve with creme fraiche or your preferred accompaniment (clotted cream??)
