Serves: 10-15 meatballs

- 500 grams minced beef
- 1 garlic
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 egg
- 2 slices bread
- 1 fresh parsley
- 1 salt
- 1 pepper

Method
Beef Meatballs of My Mom is a community recipe submitted by Vishinka and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.
- Soak slices of bread in milk. Squeeze the milk out.
- Mix together all ingredients in a food processor.
- With wet hands shape the mixture into medium-sized balls.
- Fry in a frying pan with some olive oil until they are nicely browned on all sides.
- Finish them baking in pre-heated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes. Add some olive in the bottom of the dish to keep them moist and tender.

My advice: you can use beef or pork or veal as meat. You can also add some grated cheese. Serve with spaghetti, rice or buckwheat.
