Ingredients
Serves: 8-10
- pineapple cake (flavoured gel cake, double quantity - or fatless cake or basic sponge)
- 4 slices pineapples (canned, chopped)
- 250 grams sugar syrup (syrup from the can of pineapple)
- 350 grams fresh cream (rich)
- pineapple essence (a few drops)

- 9 ounces sugar syrup (syrup from the can of pineapple)
- 12 ounces fresh cream (rich)

Method
Pineapple Fresh Cream Gateau is a community recipe submitted by Zeba and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.
1- Prepare the sponge atleast 24 hrs ahead of time to soften.
2- cut the sponge into 3 [12 mm each].
3- Place one layer over cake base.
4- Spinkle sugar syrup making sure the whole layer is moistened.
5- Layer with whipped cream.
6- Sprinkle chopped pineapple pieces.
7- Lay the second layer,moisten,top with whipped cream,sprinkle pineapple pieces.
8- Lay the top most layer,moisten and cover the cake with whipped cream on all sides.
And its done........
