- 30 millilitres butterscotch schnapps
- 1 sprinkling of fleur de sel (for the glass rim)
- 30 millilitres vodka
- 15 millilitres dry white vermouth
- 2 tablespoons butterscotch schnapps

Method
- For those who want to begin with drinks not food, take a small martini glass, dab a little butterscotch schnapps around the rim then dredge in fleur de sel.
- In a small jug, mix the vodka, butterscotch schnapps and dry white vermouth.
- Pour carefully into waiting martini glass so as not to disturb the salt rim.

Very good recipe. Also the Coca Cola Ham just blew me away.
My bartender friends like this even better when using vanilla-flavored vodka. And they also appreciate that it's a bit more streamlined than your average chocolate martini.
The addition of the vodka and vermouth into Nigella's salted caramel hot chocolate recipe is lovely on a chilly evening after dinner...
I ran for the drinks cupboard and have martini glass in hand now - this is the perfect use for that bottle of Butterscotch Schnapps and it's making my Christmas gift wrapping so much more enjoyable!
