Yet again I found my soft brown sugar wasn’t any longer, and the hint to put it in a basin Overnight with a damp cloth wasn’t much use as I needed to use it now! I tried grating it on the coarse size of a Microplane instead and it worked brilliantly, so now we can have roasted rhubarb for supper.
