To accurately prepare those recipes calling for sticky honey or syrup rather than leave some sweet substance in the measuring cup rather than in your preparation, first smear some butter or vegetable oil onto the bottom and up the sides of your liquid measuring cup. Then measure the desired amount of sweet stickiness into the cup and pour it ALL out.
