Our answer

Nigella's Honey Cake With Dates And Apples is a moist sponge with an almost sticky toffee pudding flavour, thanks to the dates and brown sugar, lifted by the citrussy notes of orange. The cake is baked in a 20cm (8-inch) springform pan.

This amount of batter would fill a 9-10-cup bundt pan. Bundt cakes bake more quickly, so we suspect that the baking time would be around 35-40 minutes. However, our main concern is that it would be very difficult to turn the cake out of a bundt pan in one piece as the cake is very moist and sticky. Nigella recommends lining the springform pan with a paper liner, or at a minumum lining the base of the pan with baking parchment (parchment paper) to stop the cake from sticking to the pan. It is impossible to do this with a bundt pan and even if you grease the pan really well, or use a non-stick baking spray, we suspect that parts of the cake would stick to the bundt pan, particularly if it is a very decorative version. So unfortunately we can't recommend baking the cake in a bundt pan.
