Can I Freeze The Nutella Cheesecake?

Nigella's Nutella Cheesecake (from NIGELLISSIMA is a no-bake cheesecake that is made with a combination of chocolate hazelnut spread and cream cheese. Cheesecakes made with full-fat cream cheese can usually be frozen. However, the manufacturers of Nutella do not recommend freezing it as the consistency can change when it thaws. Also, the oils can sometimes separate out when the Nutella thaws and while you can stir Nutella to try and mix the oils back in, it is difficult to do this with a cheesecake.

So, because of the high proportion of Nutella in the cheesecake, we don't recommend freezing the cheesecake if it is for a special occasion. The cheesecake can be made up to 4 days ahead and stored in the fridge until needed. As an alternative you could try the Chocolate Cheesecake as this can be frozen for up to 1 month.
