Can I Make The Apple And Almond Cake In A Bundt Pan?

Asked by DuchessDebs. Answered on 13th October 2022

Full question

The Apple And Almond Cake looks super delicious and great as we move from citrus cakes to more autumnal baking. Is it possible to bake it in a 10 cup bundt pan?

Our answer

Nigella's Apple And Almond Cake (from FEAST) is a gluten-free and dairy-free cake that is baked in a 25cm (10-inch) springform pan. The baked cake is not that deep and unfortunately we don't think that there is enough batter to sufficiently fill a bundt pan. In addition, as the cake is gluten free it will be more difficult to turn out of a shaped bundt pan without bits of the cake sticking to the moulded edges of a bundt pan.

If you would like some Autumn-inspired bundt cakes then we would suggest trying Nigella's Pumpkin Bundt Cake or Cider and 5-Spice Bundt Cake, both of which can be made in a 10-cup bundt pan.
