Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake

Full question
I want to make a chocolate mousse cheesecake and I was thinking of adding cream cheese to Nigella's Instant Chocolate Mousse recipe. Will this work? If so, what quantity cream cheese do I use? thanks,
Our answer
Nigella's Instant Chocolate Mousse recipe (from Nigella Express and on the Nigella website) uses melted marshmallows as a base, mixed with melted chocolate and whipped cream. The gelatine in the marshmallows helps to set the mousse and as the whipped cream is cold it means that the finished mixture sets very quickly. We have not tried using cream cheese instead so we regret that we are unable to advise on whether this would work or quantities required.
Nigella has a no-bake Cherry Cheesecake recipe and it may be possible to add meted chocolate to this recipe, or to use the Philadelphia chocolate cream cheese, if it is available in your area. Again we have not tried these options so can't guarantee the results. However if you can make a baked cheesecake then we would suggest trying Nigella's Chocolate Cheesecake.
