Glitzy Chocolate Puddings

Full question
I hadthe Glitzy Chocolate Puddings in the oven for 25 mins as per the recipe ,but it turned to a cake instead of having a chocolate sauce inside. Why is that? I tried one at 15mins it seem better but the inside edges around the ramekin had started to cook to a cake.
Our answer
We suspect from the query that you may have been expecting Nigella's Glitzy Chocolate Puddings (from Nigella Express and on the Nigella website) to be a molten chocolate cake type of dessert (where the centre is liquid). However these puddings are actually a light chocolate sponge served with a warm chocolate sauce that is made separately. So with the 25 minutes cooking time they should bake to become cake-like.
For molten chocolate puddings we would suggest that you try Nigella's Molten Chocolate Babycakes recipe (from Domestic Goddess and on the Nigella website). These are baked only for 10-12 minutes and have a have a soft, sauce-like centre.
