Nigella's Cookware

Full question
I just love the black cookware that Nigella uses. It is so pretty and it can go from stove to table easily. Could you tell me who the manufacturer is and where I could purchase it? I also love her copper casserole that does not have handles. She makes the duck legs and potatoes in it.
Just been catching up on series 1 episode 6 of Nigellisma and wondering where the green casserole pan as well as the cast iron pan for the peacans is from? Many thanks, Bgavani
Our answer
Nigella only uses a black frying pan and this is the Alessi Mami frying pan. The pan is non-stick and comes in four sizes. It is available on-line and in some cookware stores. This is the pan that Nigella uses in Nigellissima for toasting pecan nuts. The green cast iron pan is a Le Creuset shallow casserole pan (sometimes called a buffet casserole or braiser). Le Creuset tend to change their colour lines regularly and we understand that the jade green version may no longer be available, but they have the same pan in several other colours.
Nigella's copper pan is a copper tarte tatin pan (hence it doesn't have handles). Nigella's pan is made by Mauviel and again can be bought on-line or in several cookware stores. Unfortunately as it is copper it is slightly expensive, though should last a lifetime. Hoerver there are many metal tart tatin pans that are also available and these would be just as good for Nigella's Roasted Duck Legs And Potatoes, Toad In The Hole (both from Kitchen), and many other dishes.
