Reheating Lasagne of Love

Asked by NiceCupOfTea88. Answered on 5th May 2021

Full question

I have made the Lasagne Of Love (and it was great!) and I'm freezing leftover individual portions. Could you advise how best to reheat them and approximate timings? Thank you!

Our answer

Nigella's Lasagne Of Love (from COOK, EAT, REPEAT) is at its best when fresh out of the oven, but leftovers can be kept in the fridge or freezer and reheated. The instructions for storing and reheating for this recipe, and for many of Nigella's recipes, can be found by scrolling to just below the method, in the "Additional Information" box.

The time needed for reheating will be dependent on the size of the portion being reheated, but always make sure that the leftovers are reheated until piping hot all of the way through. In a microwave you are likely to need to reheat an individual portion at about 600W for about 5-7 minutes. Otherwise, put in an ovenproof dish, cover with foil and reheat in a 180°C/160°C fan/350°F oven for about 20-30 minutes.
