Yogurt Pot Cake In Bundt Tin

Full question
Is it possible to use a standard size bundt cake tin to bake the Yogurt Pot Cake in so that it has a hole in the middle?
Our answer
Nigella's Yogurt Pot Cake (from NIGELLISSIMA) is baked in a shallow ring cake tin, sometimes known as a savarin tin or savarin mould. This tin is much shallower than a bundt pan or an American-style tube pan. A bundt pan also tends to be heavier as the sides are thicker and this will affect the baking time. The ridges of a bundt pan may also make it harder to remove the cake from the pan without breaking it. You should be able to find savarin tins on-line or in some cookware stores.
You could try using a 25cm (10-inch) springform pan as an alternative as we have found that this tin works as a useful alternative for other cakes baked in a savarin tin. However we have not tested this particular cake in this tin so regret that we cannot guarantee the results. Grease the springform pan and line the base with a piece of baking parchment (parchment paper). The cake may be slightly thinner but the baking time should be similar and you should start checking the cake after 30 minutes of baking. When baked the cake should be risen, golden on top and a cake tester inserted into the centre should come out clean.
