Hi Nigella - coming to you from Vancouver, Canada. I recently gave birth to my first child (a son born on June 30th) and wanted to make something special to mark his first Halloween! When I was growing up, my late mom always cooked special feasts and desserts to celebrate milestones in my life and in her honour, I want to carry on the tradition with my son. This chocolate cake was the perfect confection to make and even though my son can't yet taste this devilishly delicious treat, I hope he will one day look back at the pictures and appreciate it.
