Last year I made this cake for my birthday and everybody was in love with it. A few days ago it also was my birthday, so I decided to make it again. It's honestly one of the best eye catchers (not to mention tastebuds catchers!) when it comes to (birthday) cakes. Unfortunately when you compare mine to Nigella's, it's not very much alike. It is, however, made with a LOT of love and I think that's where our cakes do look alike!
