My pumpkin was slightly smaller than in the recipe, but the method for measuring the rice in the cavity of the uncooked pumpkin worked great! For US cooks, passata is available in many grocery stores - Bionaturae makes one but you need to read the label on the back to see the word passata. It is strained crushed tomatoes in a glass jar.
