Apple and Blackberry Kuchen. I cut the recipe in half to better fit it into our japan-sized small oven but i wish i'd just baked a whole lot! Sooo good. I've always enjoyed yeasted cakes of this kind with various different fruits but the apple and blackberry combination may just be my favorite of all. A perfect tart-sweet balance! Will make it again when we have some locally-grown (and most delicious!) baking apples from a farm nearby.
