This is a chocoholics Easter Simnel cake. I enjoyed every moment of creating this cake. I had my father in mind for both the fruit cake and the chocolate rum and raisin shavings on top, and my sister and mum in mind for the enticing chocolate twist. It was my first time making a Simnel cake, marzipan (too which I added coco making it equally delicious and addictive), and even painting white chocolate to individulise every chocolate egg on top. Thank you for the opportunity to make the cake, and looking at the other entries it looks like everybody had a great experience. Happy Easter!
