What's not to love about strawberries, whipped cream, meringue and cake? A fabulous combination, perfect with a cup of tea. It is a gorgeous summery dessert to impress guests at barbecues or tea parties or - as I did - enjoy it alone! I added in cocoa powder to the cake to give it a chocolatey twist, and I finished it off with caramel lace. Just perfect. Thank you Nigella for another phenomenal recipe! I look forward to making this again and again.
