Hazelnut Pie With Plum Quark When I saw the original recipe I wanted to try how it would match with Finnish traditional Christmas food called Plum Quark. And I have to say that it was almost perfect! Or at least with the way I baked the pie 'cause I didn't follow the Nigella's recipe literally. The way that I personalised the recipe was very simple. And the reason why I did this was that I wanted to use the products that I already had in my closets. In the dough, I didn't use the vegetable oil but instead the margarin which was melted. In the ''suryp sauce'' I used the ordinary and basic white sugar and honey. The peanuts were crushed, and in particular the hazzelnut matched with this recipe excellently if you ask me. But if you wanna try this Plum Quark also, the recipe goes like this: 2 decilitre whipping cream 200 gram spicy quark, vanilla 150 gram plum marmalade 1 tea spoon vanilla sucker At first whip the cream to foam, then connect all the ingredients together and blend. Simple, easy and fast.
