Hello to everyone! First of all, I have to admit that even though the recipe is called "Pecan-Plus Pie", my pie has no pecans in it. Sadly, I could not find some in the markets I go. Although, I have fullfilled the other two components of this delicious recipe, since it is a pie and has in it 3 different kinds of dry nuts, almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts (that goes for the "Plus" part of the recipe's name). Furthermore, as far as the process of creating this sugary pleasure is concerned, it rolled pretty smooth, from forming the oily dough to pouring the caramel-like mixture on the brown-golden nuts, and everything in-between. I could, also, definitely say that the whole procedure felt satisfying for me. At last, it is a pleasure participating in this November's cookalong, my first cookalong, and I would for sure want to do it again. I hope you all like my pecan pie without pecans. Cheers!
