I used a mini cupcake pan and turned the love buns into bite size treats! I also added vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract to the cake batter. It turned out buttery and was perfumed with vanilla. I loved the ease at which I could make the frosting and have been using it on other dessert since trying this recipe out.
