I decided to give these pretty eggs an actual nest, and made one out of caramel! It tastes great with the chocolate cake, and adds a good crunch to it.

Show more commentsA worthy winner. I tried spun sugar and it was much harder than it looked - I ended up with three saucepans of solid toffee and a bench piled with sugar splinters.
