I’ve been reading a lot of history recently, and making these Chocolate Guinness Cupcakes seemed a fitting, if somewhat indulgent, nod to the Feinans who were sent to the Swan River colony as convicts after the uprising in 1867. And the butterfly cakes? The six who got away, escaping on the Catalpa to freedom in 1876. Chris D Perth
