I've joyfully baked this cake many times over the past five years. I've observed that while the cake is being eaten, silence reigns. When the last crumb has been swallowed, glasses are raised to the glory of Chocolate Guinness Cake. Yesterday, I used part of the batter to make a small cake. The remaining batter became mini-cupcakes that went into the freezer. They have places to go next weekend.
