My first time making hot cross buns and I am so happy with the result. I followed the recipe, except I steeped my fruit in orange juice and cinnamon prior to adding to the mixture. I gave these as Easter presents (along with a small chocolate egg) to my nearest and dearest and they were a complete hit! I will certainly make them again next year, so much better than shop bought!!
