I doubled the recipe as I was catering for a crowd. The day before, I went to the forest next to our house and picked the holly leaves. The berries are sugar sprinkles. So it’s more of an entire branch than just a log, but nothing wrong with a bit of creative licence! It was DELICIOUS. I made sure my guests took plenty home with them too so I’m not left eating any more than I really need to. I make this most years and it’s one of those recipes I look forward to making. Easy, impressive and looks as though it was way harder to make than it actually is. Thanks Nigella!
