I made this cake as a the pudding after lunch for friends. I knew they were chocolate cake fans so wanted to make something classic and came across this cake on Nigella.com. The cake was so easy to make, I really enjoyed it and it turned out beautifully. Everyone took an extra slice home. I decided to keep the cake plain but took a photo in my dining room window to capture the glint of the icing in the bright sunshine.
