I substituted the chocolate egg topping for jordan almonds and sprinkles due to what was readily available at the grocery store! I made the initial cake the day before Easter, and then topped it just before it was time for dessert to ensure it was fresh. It was delicious, and a great luscious and chocolatey alternative to carrot cake!!!
