A burst of wild blackberries growing in the stack yard of our farm among trailers and tractors became the black beauty stars of my tart! I had such a lovely time foraging them, despite the prickles and have the war wounds still! I served it with a cheeky glass of bramble liquor. More bathing in their spirit for next year! Lemon curd begged from my neighbour who also supplied raspberries and red currants from their garden. It was delicious! I had to make the base twice - I proudly lifted the first one up and the loose bottom flew off along with the sides! The dogs were happy! I was worried about getting the tart out of the tin but found a YouTube video that showed the tart standing on a smaller bowl then you slip the outer ring off and hey presto! You’re left with the tart! Thank you - I really enjoyed making - and eating this.
